I used to find PC World very expensive but they have really turned this around. Their prices are now very competitive and they price match other stores. You can also reserve and collect. They have some cracking sales and offers, but do watch out some things are still expensive like blank dvds etc.

PC World are one of the largest computing retailers in the UK. They sell a massive range of laptops. desktop computers, games consoles and computing accessories. The website is clear and well structured and you can also reserve products on their webiste and collect them instore. You can also check for stock availabilty online and they do great sales at bank holiday weekends!

In store they try to convince you to buy any old software with no knowledge of the technical aspects. Online, if you know what you want, then it is quick and efficient.

In store or online i find PC World pretty average. The benefit of the website is that you dont have to talk to some spotty kid who feels they must make something up rather than admit that they less than the customer about the product. Its their prices though that need improving and they are generally uncompetitive compared to elsewhere on the web.
