AVG is one of the best free basic antivirus out there and will meet the needs of most people but if you are like me and want more advanced features and a firewall to protect your home computer from all those nasty viruses, trojans and hackers then invest in the full version. Best of all you get a unbelievable 25% cashback. I have used AVG for years and will continue to do so.

AVG provides the best freeware antivirus software available, and, for this reason, it is used my millions of people. Personally, I have used it for a couple of years now and I have found it to be sufficient for my protection. I haven't tried any of the pay-to-use software available from AVG, but with 25% cashback I may certainly give them a try at a later date! AVG also has an add-on in Firefox for "AVG Safe Search" which adds an icon next to links informing you if they are safe or not. Thus, there is no need to follow the advice of the previous reviewer.

wow!25% cashback that is great.AVG is used my millions of people worldwide a lot of people use the individual free one which is great if you are very careful and only download stuff you are quite certain is safe i use the free one and i am very happy with it.what you can do as well is download the mcafee site advisor by typing it in google and that will tell you when you go on a website whether it is known to be safe or bad or whether it hasn't been tested yet definitely worth a try if you want to be safer online.good luck!
